Data Analyst - Patient Journey Analytics Consultant (RWD/RWE)
We are looking for a skilled Data Analytics professional with strong expertise in Real-World Data (RWD) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) to support patient journey analytics initiatives across multiple therapeutic indications. The consultant will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights from healthcare datasets and help strengthen patient journey analysis capabilities on an ongoing basis.
Location: Bangalore
Duration: 3-6 Months (Contract)
Experience Required: 4–6 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day patient journey analytics activities across various disease indications.
- Analyze and interpret healthcare datasets including:
- Open & closed claims data
- Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
- Patient registries and other RWD sources
- Develop and enhance patient journey frameworks including:
- Treatment pathways
- Lines of therapy (LoT)
- Switching patterns
- Adherence and persistence analysis
- Conduct burden of illness studies including:
- Healthcare Resource Utilization (HCRU)
- Cost and utilization analysis
- Perform outcomes research and analytics including:
- Overall Survival (OS)
- Progression-Free Survival (PFS)
- Other clinical and economic outcomes
- Collaborate with business and analytics teams to define methodologies, validate outputs, and present insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of:
- Real-World Data (RWD)
- Real-World Evidence (RWE)
- Claims, EHR, and registry datasets
- Lines of Therapy (LoT) concepts
- Adherence & persistence metrics
- Burden of illness studies
- HCRU and cost analysis
- Outcomes analysis (OS, PFS, etc.)
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in:
- SQL
- Python
- R programming knowledge is good to have
Preferred Profile
- 4–6 years of relevant experience working with pharma/biotech clients or healthcare consulting organizations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
