What This Role Is
You will be the first Data hire at Satvic Movement, joining at a true zero-to-one stage with no existing dashboards or reporting systems to maintain. This is a rare opportunity to build the data foundation from scratch and shape how the business tracks performance and makes decisions.
You will work across Shopify, Unicommerce, and Google Sheets to create dashboards, reports, and systems for sales, inventory, operations, and growth. Your work will be used directly by the founder and leadership team, giving you real ownership, fast learning, and a front-row seat to building a growing D2C brand that takes health, food, and lifestyle seriously ā we live what we build.
What You Will Do
⢠Connect and clean data from Shopify, Unicommerce, and internal Google Sheets ā build a single source of truth for the business
⢠Design and maintain dashboards in Power BI covering orders, revenue, repeat rate, AOV, SKU performance, and fulfilment metrics
⢠Automate recurring reports so the team spends time acting on data, not pulling it
⢠Identify patterns and anomalies ā surface insights proactively, not just when asked
⢠Build category-level views: which products are growing, which are stalling, what's driving repeat behaviour
⢠As we expand to other platforms and channels, onboard new data sources and extend the dashboards accordingly
⢠Work closely with the category lead and operations team to understand context ā data without context is noise
5. What We Are Looking For
You need to have minimum 1/2 years of experience working as a Data Analyst.
We care more about how you think than what your resume says. That said ā you should have:
⢠Strong command of Excel and Power BI ā not just knowing the tools, but knowing how to build dashboards that a non-data person can use
⢠Automation mindset ā you should be able to set up flows that eliminate manual work, not just do the manual work faster
⢠Comfort with data cleaning and transformation ā real business data is messy, and you won't fear that
⢠Curiosity ā you ask 'why' before you build, and you're not satisfied with a number until you understand what's behind it
⢠Clear communication ā you can explain what the data says to someone who doesn't work in data
Please note: We are open to freshers. If you've built something ā a dashboard, an automation, a personal project ā that shows us how you think, that matters more than years of experience.
6. What This Role Is Not
We want to be honest with you about what you're signing up for.
⢠This is not a large corporate analytics team with established systems. You will build from scratch.
⢠This is not a remote role. You will work on-site at our Devanahalli facility, 6 days a week.
⢠This is not a role where you wait for someone to tell you what to analyse. You will need to ask the right questions yourself.
