About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst with over three years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, developing insightful reports and dashboards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. Your expertise in SQL, Python, and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau will be instrumental in driving our data initiatives forward. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on challenging projects in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the success of our clients and organization.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience of at least three years in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence is essential. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in SQL, Python (including Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib), and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, along with a solid understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and visualization techniques, are required. Familiarity with relational databases and knowledge of statistical and analytical methods will be advantageous. Additionally, experience working within Agile methodologies and understanding the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and derive actionable insights that support business strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Write optimized SQL queries for efficient data extraction, transformation, and analysis across various databases.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns and generate meaningful recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Automate routine reports and data processes using Python to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare periodic reports to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across multiple systems through rigorous validation and quality checks.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and participate in business intelligence initiatives to foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
