About The Role
The Data Analyst - Growth Analytics at Vested Finance is a pivotal role within our central Analytics team. This position involves working closely with marketing, product, and business teams to derive insights that drive data-backed growth strategies. The primary focus of this role is to analyze user acquisition metrics, campaign performance, attribution models, website and app user journeys, onboarding funnels, and customer behavior across various digital channels. The ideal candidate will utilize tools such as GA4, Branch, Mixpanel, Metabase, SQL, and other campaign data sources to help the organization understand what is working effectively, identify areas of improvement, and uncover new growth opportunities. This role is suited for individuals who are passionate about connecting marketing data with tangible business outcomes rather than merely reporting campaign numbers. The position is based at GIFT City, Gandhinagar, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing fintech company.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative, business, finance, engineering, or analytical field. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, growth analytics, marketing analytics, or product analytics is required. Strong proficiency in SQL is essential, along with hands-on experience working with marketing or digital analytics data. Familiarity with analytics platforms such as GA4, Branch, Mixpanel, Firebase, Segment, or similar tools is highly desirable. Candidates should have experience analyzing funnels, campaign performance, attribution, customer acquisition cost, conversion rates, and user journeys. Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting are necessary. Additionally, experience with data visualization tools like Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
Growth & Marketing Analytics
- Analyze user acquisition, activation, onboarding, and conversion funnels across various digital channels to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness across paid, organic, referral, CRM, and partner-led channels.
- Track and interpret key performance indicators such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), conversion rates, lead quality, drop-offs, attribution, retention, and lifetime value (LTV).
- Identify which channels, campaigns, user cohorts, and segments are driving meaningful business results.
- Connect marketing activities with downstream metrics such as funded accounts, initial investments, repeat investments, assets under management (AUM), and revenue growth.
Digital Journey & Attribution Analysis
- Utilize tools like GA4, Branch, and Mixpanel to analyze user journeys across website and app platforms.
- Investigate attribution gaps, tracking issues, source mismatches, and campaign tagging inconsistencies.
- Support governance of UTM parameters, event tracking validation, and overall campaign measurement hygiene.
- Analyze user drop-offs at critical points such as landing pages, signup flows, KYC processes, funding stages, and investment funnels.
- Partner with product and marketing teams to improve tracking accuracy and visibility of user journeys.
Data Analysis & SQL
- Develop SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Combine marketing, product, transaction, and user data to generate comprehensive insights.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities.
- Ensure accuracy in dashboards, reports, and campaign analyses to support strategic decision-making.
Reporting & Dashboard Development
- Create and maintain dashboards using Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools for real-time performance tracking.
- Design reports focusing on campaign effectiveness, acquisition funnels, CAC, channel performance, and user activation metrics.
- Enhance dashboard clarity and usability for marketing and business stakeholders.
- Support routine reporting cycles such as weekly and monthly growth reviews.
Cross-Functional Support
- Work collaboratively with marketing, product, business, and operations teams to resolve growth-related data challenges.
- Translate complex business questions into structured analytical approaches.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses related to campaign performance, funnel drop-offs, CAC fluctuations, and user behavior patterns.
- Present insights clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
