Your Job: As a Data Analyst at Molex, you will play a pivotal role in developing Analytic solutions and web-based software. You will work closely with global stakeholders to develop dashboards, automate manual processes, improve data quality, and support digital transformation projects using Microsoft Power Platform and analytics tools. You will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, business process automation, and cross-functional collaboration while supporting quality improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing and business functions.
Our Team: You will be part of the DSS Quality Analytics team, partnering with Quality Engineers, Supplier Quality teams, Manufacturing, and Software Development teams across multiple regions. The team focuses on delivering analytics solutions, process automation, and digital transformation initiatives that support business decision-making and operational excellence.
What You Will Do
- Collect, validate, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights and support quality and supplier quality initiatives.
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and data models to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Perform data mining, trend analysis, root cause investigations, and KPI reporting to identify improvement opportunities and support business objectives.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to gather business requirements, translate them into analytical solutions, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and support automation and digital transformation initiatives using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Support data integration, data quality, governance, and reporting standardization efforts to improve reliability and accessibility of business data.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
- Create and maintain project documentation, process flows, business requirements, and technical documentation to support solution deployment and sustainment.
- Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and continuous learning while contributing to the successful delivery of analytics and automation projects.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with SQL, databases, ETL processes, and data transformation.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
- Experience in SAP HANA, ETL processes, data modeling, data cleaning, and data pre-processing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Azure cloud services, including Azure SQL Server, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with manufacturing, quality, supplier quality, or operations analytics.
- Familiarity with Azure, SharePoint, SQL Server, or cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Agile delivery models, or project management tools.
- Passion for app development and staying up-to-date with the latest web technologies.
