Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data to help drive business decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to create meaningful reports and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Create SQL queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
- Monitor KPIs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Automate repetitive reporting processes wherever possible.
- Present analytical findings to management in a clear and concise manner.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query).
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Good understanding of data visualization principles.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques.
- Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
