Data Analyst– Role Overview (8–10 Years Experience)
We are looking for experienced professionals with a strong background in data engineering and analytics to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Microsoft Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure Fabric).
- Manage and organize data using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Azure Blob Storage.
- Write efficient SQL queries (DML) on modern RDBMS platforms (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Work with Power Platform tools including Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
- Integrate and consume data via REST APIs and OAuth mechanisms.
- Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Perform data collection, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues in a timely manner.
- Implement CI/CD practices for deployment and maintenance of data solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in Data Analytics roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure stack (ADF, Synapse, Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Blob).
- Expertise in SQL and database querying (SQL Server/PostgreSQL).
- Good understanding of software engineering principles (CI/CD, version control, testing).
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#).
- Experience working with API-based data sources.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos) and Git workflows.
- Familiarity with Ansible and automation in Azure environments.
- Understanding of Azure infrastructure (subscriptions, resource groups).
- Strong learning agility.
