Job Description
Position Title: Data Analyst
Your role
Associa, the leader in property management in North America, is looking for an
experienced data analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in all
aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization. Additionally,
this person should be committed to convert data from various systems to our
accounting system, which involves extracting data from the source system,
transforming and cleaning up data using TSQL, and finally importing data into our
system using custom built templates.
What you’ll do
In the property management industry, there are various applications that handle
homeowner accounting. Associa grows by acquiring other property management
companies. Once we acquire a company, we need to convert their homeowner data into
our system. This involves extracting data from the source system, transforming and
cleaning up the data using TSQL, and then importing the data into our accounting
system using custom-built templates. You will be working closely with the
implementation team to understand the business rules and then using TSQL to
transform the data to meet those requirements.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Work closely with business Analysts to understand and maintain focus on their
analytics needs, including business rules to transform the data
- Extract data from the source system, then utilize TSQL to transform the data to
confirm to the business rules.
- Develop and maintain documentation, such as data dictionaries, metadata
repositories, and technical specifications.
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing and cross training to ensure that the
division has a backup for all essential tasks and responsibilities.
- Provide 5-star customer service
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science,
Management Information Systems, or related field.
- Proficient in TSQL
- Work variable hours, to include emergency response to outages.
- Ability to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with
effective solutions. Can see hidden problems. Is excellent at honest analysis.
Looks beyond the obvious and does not stop at the first answers.
- Ability to use his/her time effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to learn quickly when facing new problems. A relentless and versatile
