About The Role
The Senior Media Analyst at PGD will play a pivotal role in supporting client accounts through comprehensive media analytics and strategic insights. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in online and traditional media analysis, particularly within commerce platforms such as Amazon and Walmart. The ideal candidate will possess a keen analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret large data sets to inform media strategies. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have between 4 to 7 years of experience within an analytics function in the marketing industry, with specific expertise in online media and commerce analytics. Experience working with first-party data from platforms like Amazon and Walmart is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in analyzing large datasets through data mining techniques and possess strong statistical skills, including hypothesis development, experimental design, and data interpretation. Familiarity with statistical analysis software such as SPSS or SAS, as well as research design, is required. Knowledge of web measurement technologies, including ad serving platforms like DART and website analytics tools such as Adobe SiteCatalyst or Test & Target, is essential. Additionally, candidates should have experience with syndicated media research systems like Nielsen, comScore, MRI, or Scarborough. Technical skills should include advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities, familiarity with database analysis tools like MS Access or SQL, and data visualization software such as Tableau is a plus. A solid understanding of current online media issues, including attribution, data collection, targeting, and privacy, is also necessary. The ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to evolving industry standards is crucial.
