About The Role
The Marketing Analytics Senior Specialist is a highly strategic and technically proficient role responsible for transforming raw marketing data into actionable insights. Acting as a vital link between business stakeholders and talent marketing activities, this position ensures data integrity while driving process efficiency through advanced analytics and sophisticated dashboarding. The role requires a deep understanding of marketing data sources, analytical tools, and automation techniques to optimize marketing campaigns and improve ROI.
The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to design and develop data models, automate workflows, and create interactive dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in data modeling, scripting, and visualization tools, with proven experience in marketing analytics environments. Necessary qualifications include proficiency in Google Apps Script, SQL, and BI tools such as Looker Studio and Domo. A strong understanding of ad tech platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads, along with familiarity with data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, is essential. Candidates should also have experience working within CRM systems to develop reports and dashboards that support marketing strategies.
Additional qualifications include excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a proactive mindset to continuously improve processes. A degree in Data Science, Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications in analytics or cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain sophisticated data models and workbooks in Excel and Google Sheets, integrating data from sources such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, ATS, and CRM platforms.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and Power Query for comprehensive data transformation, cleansing, and validation to ensure accurate reporting outputs.
- Champion workflow automation by leveraging Google Apps Script to automate manual processes, reduce errors, and streamline reporting cycles.
- Create custom integrations between Google Workspace tools and external data platforms like BigQuery to facilitate seamless data flow and accessibility.
- Design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards using Looker Studio and Domo, ensuring clarity, usability, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Manage hands-on reporting for Google and Meta Ads campaigns, providing insights and recommendations on budget allocation to maximize return on investment.
- Act as a Business Analyst for data projects, gathering requirements, managing expectations, and coordinating with technical teams via JIRA to ensure project delivery aligns with business needs.
- Implement data governance frameworks, validation checks, and error-trapping mechanisms to maintain data quality, security, and compliance across all analytics activities.
