About The Role
The Marketing Analytics Senior Specialist is a highly strategic and technically proficient role responsible for transforming raw marketing data into actionable insights. This position acts as the crucial link between business stakeholders and talent marketing activities, ensuring data integrity while driving process efficiency through advanced analytics and sophisticated dashboarding. The role requires a proactive approach to data management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex insights effectively to non-technical audiences.
The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in data modeling, automation, and visualization tools to optimize marketing campaigns and improve ROI. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technology, and business operations, to ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess advanced technical skills and relevant experience, including proficiency in data modeling, scripting, and visualization tools. A strong understanding of ad tech platforms and data infrastructure is essential, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex data projects, automating workflows, and delivering insightful reports that drive strategic decisions.
- Proven expertise in Advanced Excel Architecture, Google Sheets, and data modeling techniques.
- Strong proficiency in Google Apps Script or similar scripting tools for process automation and AI integration.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, data transformation, and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Looker Studio and Domo for business intelligence reporting.
- Practical knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and ad management platforms such as Indeed or Joveo.
- Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and BigQuery for data ingestion and storage.
- Strong CRM experience for building reports and dashboards.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills to align technical and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain sophisticated data models and workbooks in Excel and Google Sheets, integrating data from sources such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, ATS, and CRM platforms.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and Power Query for comprehensive data transformation and cleansing, ensuring high data accuracy for reporting purposes.
- Champion workflow automation by leveraging Google Apps Script to streamline manual processes, reduce errors, and accelerate reporting cycles.
- Create custom integrations between Google Workspace tools and external data platforms like BigQuery to facilitate seamless data flow and real-time analytics.
- Develop and optimize interactive dashboards using Looker Studio and Domo, ensuring they are user-friendly and aligned with business needs.
- Manage hands-on reporting for advertising campaigns across Google and Meta platforms, providing insights and recommendations for budget allocation to maximize ROI.
- Act as a Business Analyst for data projects, gathering requirements, defining scope, and managing expectations through tools like JIRA to ensure project success.
- Implement strict data validation, error detection, and governance frameworks to maintain data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with marketing and technology teams to ensure consistent data definitions, shared goals, and effective communication of insights.
