Drave Digitals Consultancy is hiring a Data Analyst on behalf of one of our client companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making and identify opportunities for process and performance improvement.
The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with hands-on experience working with tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, or similar data analytics platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, insights, and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for business stakeholders.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases.
- Create reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular business performance reports.
- Translate business requirements into meaningful data analysis and actionable insights.
- Work closely with business, operations, finance, sales, marketing, and technology teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Identify data discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve data-quality issues.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, charts, and data analysis.
- Good working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or another data visualization tool.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and validation.
- Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills- Knowledge of Python/R for data analysis.
- Experience with Power Query, DAX, or similar data-analysis technologies.
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts and forecasting.
- Experience working with cloud databases or data warehouses.
- Exposure to business intelligence, reporting automation, or ETL processes.
Educational Qualification- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- A certification in Data Analytics, Power BI, SQL, or Business Intelligence will be an added advantage.
