Position Summary:
The Data Analyst supports clinical, operational, and research activities through robust data handling, analysis, and reporting. The role ensures high-quality data stewardship and generates insights that inform clinical practice and operational strategy
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and curate clinical, laboratory, and operational datasets.
• Perform data cleaning, integration, and validation across multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and performance indicators.
• Conduct ad-hoc and routine analyses to support clinical studies and business needs.
• Collaborate with clinical, laboratory, and business stakeholders to define analytical requirements.
• Contribute to data governance and quality management activities.
Key Skills:
• Proficient in end-to-end data preparation, ensuring varied datasets are cleaned, structured, validated and optimised for analysis
• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and developing automated scripts to support recurring analysis workflows.
• Experience building interactive data visualisations and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau and similar platforms
• Good understanding of statistics, including descriptive analysis, hypothesis testing and regression analysis
• Familiarity with R and/or Python for data analysis and automation of data workflows using relevant libraries and scripts
• Strong focus on data quality and integrity, and awareness of data governance principles, including responsible stewardship of data assets
• Ability to communicate analytical results clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams .
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, bioinformatics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, dashboarding, data management.
• Prior experience in healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, clinical research, or laboratory settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience handling sensitive, confidential, or patient-related data will be an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn domain-specific processes.
