About The Role
We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at ValueMomentum. The ideal candidate will utilize their passion for big data and analytics to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across various business functions. This role involves conducting both recurring and ad hoc analyses to address business challenges, identify opportunities, and improve overall operational efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate complex data into meaningful visualizations, and communicate findings effectively to facilitate informed decisions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in data analysis, specifically within Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance projects.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of insurance industry processes, terminology, and key performance indicators.
- Ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into clear, concise reports and presentations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Understand the day-to-day challenges faced by the business that can be addressed through data analysis.
- Gather, compile, and analyze data related to various business issues to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports that clearly communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide timely analytical support.
- Conduct both routine and ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and cleansing processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging analytics tools to continuously enhance analytical capabilities.
