About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and business-focused Data Analyst to manage and analyze performance across quick commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, and other marketplace channels. The role will focus on sales analytics, inventory performance, visibility tracking, campaign analysis, and business reporting to drive growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance across quick commerce portals.
- Analyze SKU-level sales, inventory, fill rates, stock-outs, returns, and assortment performance.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports for key business metrics and KPIs.
- Identify growth opportunities through data-backed insights and recommendations.
- Track platform promotions, campaigns, pricing, and visibility performance.
- Work closely with Growth, Operations, Supply Chain, and Category teams to improve business outcomes.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on customer trends, order patterns, and marketplace performance.
- Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple sources.
- Present actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders for decision-making. Quick commerce analysts are expected to track KPIs, build dashboards, analyze operational performance, and support business growth through data-driven recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in Data Analytics, E-commerce Analytics, or Quick Commerce Analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar BI tools.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and convert findings into business insights.
- Understanding of e-commerce and quick commerce metrics such as GMV, AOV, Conversion Rate, Fill Rate, Stock Availability, and ROAS.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience working with quick commerce platforms or D2C brands.
- Basic knowledge of Python and data automation tools.
- Experience handling marketplace or retail sales data. Analysts in e-commerce and quick commerce environments commonly work with sales, inventory, customer behavior, and operational datasets to support business decisions.
