About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data and reporting requests from both clients and internal teams, ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and usability of the data delivered. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our data-driven decision-making processes by vetting, processing, and fulfilling data requests efficiently. The Data Analyst will also contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes, documentation standards, and data management practices. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL querying and database management.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is advantageous.
- Knowledge of AB testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with product analysis and evaluation of data requests.
- Understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance considerations.
- Experience working with data reporting tools, databases, and templates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access or similar database applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and validate data and reporting requests from clients and internal teams.
- Perform data vetting to ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality before delivery.
- Utilize SQL and other tools to extract, manipulate, and analyze data as per project requirements.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Conduct AB testing to evaluate the effectiveness of different data strategies and reporting methods.
- Evaluate data requests for reasonableness, data availability, and privacy considerations.
- Document processes, methodologies, and best practices for data management and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance reporting efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy policies and security standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues and provide solutions to stakeholders.
