Role Description & Responsibilities: · Functional testing of Web based & standalone applications · Application Support - Level 2 · Communicate with local and remote team members, appropriate stakeholders and customers as needed · Work on large scale software systems Qualifications: · 2-3 Years of functional testing experience · Tester's mindset! · A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or other engineering fields · Knowledge of testing web-based applications is desired · Knowledge of API testing is an added advantage · Knowledge of testing, SDLC, Bug reporting, Bug lifecycle etc. would be desired · Good communication skills · Testing certifications if any would be an advantage (ISTQB, QAI etc.) · Ability to investigate and find root cause of problem · Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude · Strong problem-solving skills · Good academic record · Customer Support experience/exposure is expected · Knowledge & experience of Automation testing is an added advantage · Exposure to DevOps would be an added advantage · Good knowledge of application support process is an advantage · Candidate need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, appreciate aggressive goals and have a desire-to-win attitude. · Candidate need the ability to solve tough problems that require innovative solutions
