What You'll Do
As part of the Content Strategy and Growth team, you'll be responsible for getting our AI-powered original comics in front of readers globally. You'll identify distribution platforms, optimize performance, and explore creative hacks for organic growth.
- Platform Distribution: Research, evaluate, and onboard distribution channels—like Google Play Books, Tapas, Webtoon Canvas, and other emerging comic/webtoon platforms and apps.
- Launch & Manage Listings: Own the process of uploading, formatting, and managing our comic content across platforms. Ensure metadata, thumbnails, and episodic formats are optimized.
- Growth Experiments:Test and implement organic growth hacks—like SEO tactics, Reddit/Discord engagement, newsletter drops, partnerships with influencers, and more.
- Analytics & Optimization: Track engagement, downloads, and platform-specific performance. Use data to refine distribution strategy and content packaging.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in digital content distribution, platform partnerships, or growth marketing—ideally in media, publishing, or entertainment.
- Passion for comics, webtoons, or digital storytelling.
- Familiarity with platforms like Google Play Books, Amazon, Webtoon, Tapas, GlobalComix, etc., is a plus.
- Self-starter mindset. You're someone who enjoys figuring things out and scaling from 0 to 1.
- Creative, analytical, and resourceful—you know how to hustle and experiment without always needing big budgets.
Bonus Points if you:
- Have experience creating or uploading and managing content on self-publishing platforms.
- Have a network or previous experience with online fandom communities.
- Have worked in a startup environment or a lean team.
