Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced Dance Teacher at Sanjay Ghodawat International School, located in Kolhapur. The Dance Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging dance lessons across various styles and techniques. The role involves choreographing performances, mentoring students, and fostering their artistic growth. The teacher will actively participate in school events, assist in cultural programs, and ensure a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Dance Instruction, choreography, and various dance forms
- Strong foundation in Dance Education and curriculum development
- Teaching experience in a school setting with the ability to inspire and engage students
- Skills in music as it pertains to dance coordination and performance
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Degree or certification in Dance or Performing Arts is preferred
- Experience in preparing students for performances and competitions is an advantage
- Passion for nurturing creativity, discipline, and self-expression in students
