Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad for a Dance Teacher. The Dance Teacher will be responsible for planning, teaching, and executing dance lessons across various age groups, focusing on fostering students’ physical and creative growth. Duties include preparing lesson plans, teaching choreography, offering constructive feedback, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and organizing performances and events to showcase students' progress. Collaborating with fellow faculty and participating in school activities and staff meetings is also a key part of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Dance and a passion for performing arts
- Proficiency in Dance Instruction and Dance Education, with experience in creating lesson plans
- Proven Teaching and mentoring skills in a classroom or workshop setting
- Knowledge of Music and its integration into dance for choreography
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and engage students of different age groups and skill levels
- A degree or certification in Dance, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in teaching or performing dance is an advantage
