Role Overview
GoldenBee Global Schools is looking for an energetic and passionate Dance Teacher to train and inspire students through creative and engaging dance education. The candidate will be responsible for conducting dance sessions, choreographing performances, and supporting cultural and performing arts initiatives across the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct dance classes for students across different grade levels
- Train students in various dance forms and performance techniques
- Choreograph performances for annual day, cultural events, assemblies, competitions, and special programs
- Encourage creativity, confidence, expression, rhythm, and stage presence among students
- Organize rehearsals and coordinate dance-related activities
- Support school events and performing arts initiatives
- Collaborate with SPA and academic teams for integrated activities
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, energetic learning environment
Preferred Skills
- Strong dance performance and choreography skills
- Ability to engage and manage students effectively
- Creativity and passion for performing arts education
- Good communication and stage coordination skills
- Experience in classical, western, contemporary, folk, freestyle, or cinematic dance forms will be an added advantage
Eligibility
- Degree / Diploma / Certification in Dance or Performing Arts
- Prior teaching or choreography experience preferred
- Freshers with strong dance training and performance background may also apply
