About The Role

Vydehi Advanced Simulation Academy (VASA), one of South-East Asia’s largest and most advanced healthcare simulation laboratories, is looking for a passionate Biomedical Engineer to be part of our growing simulation team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge simulation technology and contribute directly to training future healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and manage low to high fidelity simulators, mannequins, task trainers, and AV systems
• Ensure simulation labs and learning spaces are fully prepared ahead of workshops and training programs
• Perform pre-session and post-session equipment checks to maintain uninterrupted operations
• Provide real-time technical support and troubleshooting during live simulation sessions
• Carry out servicing, repairs, and system troubleshooting of simulation and medical equipment
• Operate and maintain clinical equipment such as IV pumps, ventilators, anesthesia machines, defibrillators, and AEDs
• Maintain utilization records, inventory logs, and equipment performance reports
• Prepare and apply moulage to create realistic clinical scenarios
• Support institutional visits, audits, inspections, and special training programs
• Deliver pre-briefing demonstrations for new batches and newly introduced simulators
• Collaborate with faculty, operations teams, and stakeholders for seamless simulation delivery
  
  

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in healthcare simulation, medical equipment management, or clinical engineering is an advantage
• Strong technical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and comfort working in dynamic, live training environments
• Effective communication and coordination abilities
  
  

Compensation

• Salary will be as per company standards and commensurate with experience.
