About the role
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Analyst - Product Testing with a strong focus on
structured testing and data validation. The role involves executing test cases,
identifying defects, and ensuring high data quality by validating outputs against
source financial filings. The candidate should be able to systematically test workflows, identify edge cases, and clearly document issues, ensuring that
product outputs meet defined quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end-end test cases across all financial documents (earnings reports,
filings, etc.)
- Support creation and maintenance of test scenarios and coverage areas
- Identify bugs, inconsistencies, and data mismatches during testing
- Create clear and structured bug reports including:
Steps to reproduce
Expected vs actual results
Severity Classification
Supporting evidence (screenshots, data references) - Use basic SQL (with guidance) to investigate data issues and Validate backend
data against frontend outputs
- Work closely with senior QA, Product, and Engineering teams
- Track issues through resolution and support re-testing
- Identify recurring issues and highlight patterns and suggest improvements in
testing processes and coverage
- Build understanding of user workflows to improve validation quality
- Ensure product outputs meet defined quality standards before release
- Focus on user impact while identifying and prioritizing issues
- Participate in discussions to clarify ambiguities in requirements
Requirements

- Deep understanding of financial statements and financial markets
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Structured approach to testing and problem-solving
- Good bug reporting and documentation skills
- Basic Excel/data handling skills
- Ability to understand user workflows and identify gaps
