• Associate’s Degree from an accredited college in Applied Science
• Valid Texas license as a physical therapy assistant grated by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
• One year of physical therapy experience, including contact with school-age children
• Demonstrated ability to implement physical therapy treatment programs as specified by physical therapy plan of care.
• Demonstrated strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Assist physical therapist to revise short-term student goals.
• Assist with instructing teachers, staff and parents in the use of adaptive equipment, assistive technology programs or devices and integration of therapy goals into the educational program.
