Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dairy Technologist role based in Surat. The Dairy Technologist will oversee the development, processing, and quality control of dairy-based products, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring production parameters, conducting laboratory and sensory tests, and documenting results to maintain consistent product quality. The role involves collaborating with production, procurement, and quality teams to optimize formulations, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements. The Dairy Technologist will also participate in new product development, support shelf-life studies, and ensure all activities align with internal standards and relevant food regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Food Technology and Food Science, with the ability to apply technical knowledge to dairy processing and product development.
- Hands-on experience working with Dairy Products, including formulation, processing parameters, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in Sensory Evaluation, including setting up panels, recording feedback, and translating results into actionable improvements.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including trial design, data analysis, and scaling up formulations from lab to production.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality management systems, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site in Surat, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
