Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Dai Maker located in Pune City. The primary responsibilities include designing, manufacturing, and maintaining precision dies, mold tools, and machinery components. The Dai Maker will also interpret technical drawings, operate equipment like CNC machines and lathes, and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications. Collaborating with the design and manufacturing teams to optimize production efficiency and troubleshooting design or operational issues are key parts of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in die and mold making processes, including tool maintenance, assembly, and repair
- Experience with technical drawings, CAD software, and blueprint interpretation
- Hands-on skills in operating CNC machines, milling machines, and lathes
- Strong understanding of materials used in tooling and their machining properties
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in die operations and production workflows
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Previous experience in precision engineering is preferred
- Diploma or certification in Tool & Die Making or a related engineering field
