Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented D2C Team Lead to manage end-to-end website operations, leading a team of 4. This role is critical in ensuring the D2C Website of the company achieves scale and contributes significantly to revenue growth and brand identity.
1. Revenue & Performance Ownership
· Own end-to-end revenue targets for the D2C website, with a strong focus on scalable and profitable growth
· Monitor and optimize key performance metrics including ROAS, AOV, performance among categories, etc.
· Drive weekly and monthly performance reviews for both the website and the team, identifying gaps and executing corrective actions
2. Paid Marketing & Growth Strategy
· Act as the primary point of contact for the performance marketing agency, aligning on budgets, category/SKU focus, audience strategy, and campaign priorities
· Drive creative strategy and execution in collaboration with internal teams and the agency, including briefing, feedback, and iteration
· Monitor and optimize performance metrics, ensuring pre-decided ROAS efficiency while scaling, conduct regular reviews to identify gaps
· Make and execute WhatsApp Marketing plan, Identify and test new growth channels beyond Meta and Google, and scale those that deliver sustainable performance
3. Website Conversion Optimisation
· Use website data (clicks, sessions, conversion rates, etc.) to continuously optimize product curation, banners, and collection pages for higher engagement and sales
· Ensure complete accuracy and consistency of product listings, including images, descriptions, pricing, and size information
· Own and improve the end-to-end customer experience by identifying and implementing enhancements across the website (e.g., checkout partners, themes, video integrations, site speed tools)
4. Logistics, Operations, and Customer Service
· Coordinate closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure adherence to SLAs, while proactively identifying and resolving operational gaps
· Act as the single point of contact for all courier and logistics partners, ensuring smooth execution and issue resolution
· Lead and manage the customer service team, ensuring high-quality, timely support across all touchpoints
· Monitor key logistics and service metrics (delivery timelines, return rates, NDRs, CSAT, etc.) and drive continuous improvements
· Collaborate with inventory planning teams to ensure optimal stock availability of key products and prevent stock-outs of high-demand SKUs
5. Reporting and Insights
· Build and maintain dashboards to track daily, weekly, and monthly performance
· Present regular performance updates to leadership with clear action plans
· Provide insights to Design Team/ Graphics Team/ Cataloguing Team to drive execution
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Understanding of D2C/e-commerce operations
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Comfort with MS Excel functions & formulas, and use of basic AI tools
- Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable growth strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a team lead or supervisory role
- Exposure to e-commerce/ D2C brand in a startup
- Basic understanding of performance marketing and website-building platforms like Shopify
