Job Description
The client is seeking a seasoned D2C Lead to spearhead the establishment, scaling, and optimization of its direct-to-consumer and e-commerce operations across multiple digital platforms in India. This role will encompass end-to-end ownership of D2C strategies, including platform management, digital merchandising, revenue growth, and customer experience enhancement. The ideal candidate will drive revenue across owned websites and major marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, and Q-commerce channels. Responsibilities include overseeing website operations to ensure seamless user journeys, performance optimization, and conversion rate improvements, as well as managing product listings, catalog structures, and navigation. The role also involves marketplace operations, including SKU management, listing optimization with A+ content, images, keywords, and SEO, as well as managing promotions, deals, and visibility levers. Additionally, the D2C Lead will coordinate closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability, minimize stock-outs or overstocking, and manage order fulfillment and platform SLAs. The position requires building a strong and consistent brand positioning across all digital platforms, owning the customer journey, feedback loops, and experience metrics, and driving initiatives to improve ratings, reviews, and customer retention. The role also includes planning and executing digital campaigns, including paid ads on marketplaces and the website, driving email marketing campaigns, and collaborating with the marketing team for creatives, content, and campaigns. Furthermore, the D2C Lead will track and analyze key metrics such as traffic, conversion, customer acquisition cost, retention, and revenue, generating actionable insights and continuously optimizing performance. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a focus on driving online sales and revenue growth.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own and drive revenue across D2C channels, including the client's own website and major marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, and Q-commerce channels.
- Manage and scale the client's presence across multiple e-commerce platforms, identifying growth opportunities across product categories, pricing, and promotions.
- Oversee website operations, ensuring seamless user journeys, performance optimization, and conversion rate improvements.
- Manage product listings, catalog structures, and navigation for the client's digital platforms.
- End-to-end management of SKUs across platforms, including listing optimization with A+ content, images, keywords, and SEO.
- Manage promotions, deals, and visibility levers within marketplaces to enhance brand presence and sales.
- Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability, minimize stock-outs or overstocking, and manage order fulfillment and platform SLAs.
- Build strong and consistent brand positioning across all digital platforms for the client.
