Role: D2C Business Lead / Category Lead / P&L Owner
Location: Thane
Type: Founding Team | Revenue Ownership | High Impact
🚀 What this role really is
This is not an “ecommerce manager” role.
You will own the business, category, and P&L—driving revenue growth end-to-end across Shopify, marketplaces, ads, retention, and conversion.
Your job is simple:
Grow revenue profitably while improving repeat purchase and customer lifetime value.
You will think like a mini-founder for the business, balancing growth, margins, customer acquisition, and retention.
🎯 What you will own
P&L & Revenue Ownership (Core Responsibility):- Own category/business P&L
- Drive monthly and quarterly revenue growth
- Improve contribution margins and profitability
- Take data-driven decisions for scaling
Marketplace & Ecommerce Growth:- Own and scale marketplaces (Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio, etc.)
- Manage catalog optimization, visibility, pricing, discounts, and sales growth
- Improve marketplace performance through data-backed optimizations
Shopify & Conversion Optimization:- Own Shopify business end-to-end
- Improve website conversion rate (CRO)
- Optimize landing pages, product pages, checkout, UX
- Work on AOV, bundles, upselling, cross-selling
Performance Marketing & Conversion Tracking:- Work closely on Meta, Google, and paid acquisition through agencies
- Own ad-to-conversion funnel performance
- Ensure proper tracking, attribution, and conversion optimization
- Improve ROAS, CAC, MER, and contribution margin
Growth Hacks, Discounts & Sales Strategy:- Create sales hacks, pricing experiments, and demand-driving campaigns
- Build discounting frameworks without killing profitability
- Run experiments to improve conversion and sales velocity
Retention & Repeat Purchase:- Improve customer retention and repeat rate
- Own CRM, WhatsApp, email journeys, and loyalty initiatives
- Build systems to improve LTV (Lifetime Value)
Business Analysis & Decision Making:- Analyze daily business performance
- Identify growth opportunities and leakages
- Build dashboards and take fast, data-driven decisions
Execution & Team Management:- Work with performance agencies, freelancers, internal teams
- Get execution done fast without dependency
- Hire and build teams when required

🧠What we’re looking for
- Experience in D2C / ecommerce business growth
- Strong understanding of P&L, growth, and digital commerce
- Experience with Shopify, marketplaces, ads, retention
- Strong analytical mindset with business-first thinking
- Someone obsessed with revenue, numbers, and optimization

- Fixed: ₹8–10L
- Variable: ₹2–5L (linked to revenue, profitability, repeat rate)
- ESOP: 1% – 2%
