Description
A summer production Machine Operator at D&H Industries utilizes robots or other assist devices to produce parts and uses measurement tools to perform quality checks. Applicants for this position must be at least 18-years-old.
SCHEDULE: This is a 2nd Shift position. Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 1 a.m., 10-hour-shifts. Subject to change based on business need. Typically, the work schedule is between 8-to 10-hour shifts throughout the year.
We are open to train a person with great character and no experience. Give manufacturing a try!
THE WHAT
What will you be doing?
· Use work instructions to produce parts.
· Inspect parts to ensure customer specifications are met.
· Perform basic measurements using quality measurement equipment and documenting results.
· Utilize the robot interface to set up, adjust, and operate the robot system.
· May be assigned to work in other areas of the production floor as needed to meet production deadlines.

Requirements
- Skills-Basic reading, writing and math skills. Ability to read measurements in metric and traditional scale or the ability to learn how to measure. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Education-HS diploma or equivalent.
- Physical Demands-Ability to stand up to 10 hours per shift. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
