Role Overview

As a Content Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, structuring, and managing high-quality 3D content used in our cutting-edge interior design application. You’ll collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to ensure that the digital representations of furniture, fixtures, and architectural elements are accurate, scalable, and visually compelling.


Key Responsibilities

  • 3D Content Creation.
  • Develop static and parametric 3D models of interior design elements (e.g., furniture, appliances, fixtures).
  • Apply textures, materials, and lighting to enhance realism.
  • Ensure models meet performance and visual standards for real-time rendering.

Content Structuring & Authoring

  • Organise content hierarchies and metadata for efficient retrieval and use.
  • Author commercial data (e.g., pricing, dimensions, variants) using content authoring tools.
  • Maintain consistency with manufacturer specifications and design guideline.

Collaboration & Integration

  • Work closely with UI/UX designers and software engineers to integrate content into the application.
  • Participate in cross-functional reviews to refine content quality and usability.
  • Communicate regularly with global teams to align on standards and deliverables.

 Quality Assurance & Optimisation

  • Test content within the application to ensure compatibility and performance.
  • Optimise models for different platforms (desktop, mobile, AR/VR).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve content-related issues.

Customer Interaction & Requirement Gathering

  • Engage with customers, designers, and stakeholders to understand content needs.
  • Translate customer requirements into technical specifications for 3D content.
  • Conduct workshops or feedback sessions to validate content accuracy and usability.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding content integration.
  • Collaborate with sales and support teams to resolve customer-reported content issues.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Proficiency in 3D modelling tools such as, 3DS Max, AutoCAD, or Blender.
  • Strong understanding of geometry, spatial visualisation, and parametric modelling.
  • Experience with content authoring platforms and structured data formats (e.g., XML, JSON).
  • Familiarity with interior design standards and product specifications.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and other productivity tools.
