About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Specialist in Cyber Security Operations to join our Global Network Operations Centre based in Bengaluru. This onsite role reports directly to the Manager of the Global Network Operations Centre and plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our digital assets and brand reputation. As part of our security team, you will support our Brand Protection initiatives, including Web Application Firewall (WAF), Dark Web Monitoring, and Domain Name Management. Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining technical controls, platform hygiene, and operational excellence across our security platforms such as Imperva, Cloudsek, and CSC Portal. The role demands a proactive approach to monitoring, incident management, and continuous process improvement, operating in a 24x7 environment to ensure the highest levels of security and service delivery.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, complemented by 4-6 years of relevant IT experience in network security operations. Proven expertise in managing network security platforms such as Imperva-WAF, Cloudsek, and CSC is essential. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in global network and security operations environments, demonstrating the ability to handle complex assignments and technical escalations effectively. Familiarity with public cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure is highly desirable. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills are vital, along with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high service standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate as an integral member of the Global Network Operations Group, focusing on managing our Brand Protection functions.
- Maintain and operate the security platform configurations, including the inclusion of new features, adherence to global architecture standards, and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Manage technical escalations and crisis situations within a 24x7 operational environment, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact.
- Coordinate with service providers and remote customer locations for maintenance, planned changes, and upgrades.
- Implement and oversee platform operations on Imperva, Cloudsek, and CSC Portal, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders to secure digital assets and enhance monitoring coverage continually.
- Operate in rotational shifts, working effectively within a team of subject matter experts to ensure continuous security operations.
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documentation regularly to reflect best practices and evolving threats.
- Ensure compliance with KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), striving for high customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Participate in ongoing training and development activities to stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.
