As a Cybersecurity SME, you will collaborate with engineering, service delivery, and sales teams to embed security across infrastructure solutions, including cloud, virtualization, identity platforms, and enterprise networks. You'll serve as a technical authority, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant environments.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure security, or enterprise IT security
• Experience supporting North American enterprise environments
• Prior experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment preferred
• Proven experience working in remote, global teams

Identity & Access Security

• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management
• Strong understanding of identity-first security models

Endpoint & Network Security

• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and EDR/XDR platforms
• Endpoint hardening and compliance
• Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, SentinelOne, and next-generation firewalls
• Network segmentation and secure remote access architecture

Cloud & Infrastructure Security

• Microsoft Azure security architecture and secure hybrid cloud environments
• Virtualization and VDI security across Citrix and VMware environments

Security Monitoring & Operations

• Experience with SIEM platforms, security analytics, and threat detection frameworks
• Knowledge of incident response, vulnerability management, and security best practices

Certifications (Preferred)

• CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, GIAC, Microsoft Security certifications, or CEH

Communication & Collaboration

• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal); French is an asset
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and security reports
• Comfortable working with North American clients and executive stakeholders
• Ability to overlap at least 3-4 hours with EST

Your Daily Tasks

Security Architecture & Design

• Design and maintain secure architecture standards across client environments
• Provide expert guidance on security controls across cloud, identity, endpoint, network, and VDI environments
• Develop frameworks aligned with NIST, CIS Controls, and Zero Trust principles

Client Security Advisory

• Participate in technical assessments and security reviews
• Provide recommendations and remediation plans following vulnerability assessments
• Support security discussions during solution design and architecture workshops

Managed Security Operations Support

• Define best practices for monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Ensure consistent implementation of security policies across teams
• Support improvements in managed security service offerings

Risk Management & Compliance

• Conduct security risk assessments and gap analyses
• Ensure alignment with frameworks such as ISO 27001
• Support compliance documentation and reporting

Incident Response & Threat Analysis

• Provide expertise during security incidents and investigations
• Perform root cause analysis and remediation planning
• Develop incident response playbooks and escalation procedures

Internal Security Governance

• Define security standards and operational procedures
• Support secure operational practices across infrastructure and service delivery teams
