Krunalkumar is looking for Cybercrime Case Study & Digital Investigation Interns who want to learn how cybercrime investigations work in practice.
This is a simulation-based learning internship. You will investigate fictional cybercrime cases and selected historical cases using simulated evidence and publicly available information.
You will learn how investigators analyze evidence, reconstruct incidents, build timelines, investigate digital traces, and write professional investigation reports.
What You'll Do
- Investigate simulated cybercrime cases.
- Analyze logs, emails, IP addresses, domains, timestamps, and other digital evidence.
- Conduct basic OSINT investigations.
- Build incident timelines.
- Identify Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
- Develop and test investigation hypotheses.
- Separate facts from assumptions.
- Identify missing or required evidence.
- Prepare investigation reports.
- Present your findings and reasoning.
- Study selected real-world historical cybercrime cases.
