Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a dedicated Cybersecurity Intern, based in the Greater Delhi Area. The intern will assist in implementing and reviewing cybersecurity measures, conducting application and network security assessments, and analyzing potential threats or vulnerabilities. Responsibilities also include documenting security processes, supporting information security initiatives, and collaborating with the team on proactive measures to enhance digital safety.
**You will be required to work under pressure and improvise along the work as needed. You will be required to take the initiative sometimes on some projects to prove your capability to handle work on your own. In the beginning you might be required to work beyond your shift timing depending on the urgency of the work. You have to be available for all the meetings with proper update of your assigned work. No excuses will be accepted for any delay in work except for emergencies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in core cybersecurity principles, including Cybersecurity and Information Security.
- Skills in Network Security, with the ability to assess network vulnerabilities and risks.
- Competence in Application Security and understanding secure coding practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to detect and respond to cyber threats effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging security technologies and methodologies.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, or similar are a plus but not mandatory.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
