About This Role
Olezka Global is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. In this role, you will be instrumental in protecting our digital assets, detecting and responding to cyber threats, and maintaining the integrity of our systems and data. You will work with cutting-on-edge tools and technologies to safeguard our infrastructure and uphold our commitment to cybersecurity excellence.
What You'll Do
- Monitor security systems for anomalies and potential threats.
- Investigate security incidents and provide timely responses.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and maintain security controls and configurations.
- Participate in incident response planning and execution.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure coding practices and system configurations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and technologies.
- Experience with SIEM platforms, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and firewalls.
- Proficiency in incident response procedures and forensic analysis.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+).
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in a cybersecurity-related field.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Experience in threat intelligence analysis.
