Role Description The Cyber Security Trainer at Offenso Hackers Academy will design and deliver engaging, practical training sessions across core programs, including security analysis, ethical hacking, and information security. Responsibilities include preparing course materials, developing lab exercises and CTF challenges, guiding learners through real-world attack simulations, and mentoring them on projects and internships. The trainer will assess learner performance, provide constructive feedback, and continuously update content to reflect current threats, tools, and industry best practices. Collaboration with the academic and placement teams to align training with job roles and certifications is expected. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Network Security and Application Security.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Malware Analysis and related investigative techniques.
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are beneficial.
- Prior experience teaching, mentoring, or delivering technical training in cybersecurity is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with CTF platforms, security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners), and modern attack/defense techniques.
