Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Trivandrum for a Cyber Security Trainer at Offenso Hackers Academy. The Cyber Security Trainer will deliver hands-on training sessions, guide students through real-world attack simulations, and assist with live Capture-The-Flag (CTF) exercises. Responsibilities include designing and delivering curriculum for cybersecurity topics, mentoring students on ethical hacking techniques, and providing support during internships and industry projects. The Trainer will also work with the team in refining course material to align with emerging trends and technologies in cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver cybersecurity training sessions for students and professionals
- Conduct hands-on labs and practical workshops
- Train candidates in Ethical Hacking, VAPT, Network Security, SOC, SIEM, and Web Application Security
- Prepare training materials, assignments, and assessments
- Guide students in cybersecurity certifications and career paths
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and trends
- Support internal cybersecurity awareness and technical sessions
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- Ethical Hacking
- Penetration Testing
- Network Security
- Web Application Security
- Linux & Windows Security
- SIEM / SOC Operations
- Vulnerability Assessment
- Hands-on experience with tools like Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Wireshark, etc.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a cybersecurity trainer or mentor preferred
- Industry certifications such as CEH, eJPT, Security+, PNPT, OSCP, or similar are an advantage
- Malayalam speaking candidates preferred
- Kerala-based candidates preferred
- Candidates from Trivandrum or willing to relocate are encouraged to apply
Experience
- Freshers with strong practical skills can apply
