Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Cyber Security Manager based in Canada & Australia. The Cyber Security Manager will oversee the development and implementation of security measures to protect applications, networks, and sensitive information. Responsibilities include performing vulnerability assessments, monitoring and improving cybersecurity measures, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify risks and develop robust security strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Application Security and the ability to safeguard software systems and applications
- Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Network Security to identify and mitigate cyber threats effectively
- Knowledge of Information Security principles to manage confidential data and ensure compliance with policies
- Experience in conducting Vulnerability Assessments and implementing solutions to address discovered risks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to collaborate with teams and lead security initiatives
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH, are advantageous
- A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
