- Proven experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or a related domain, with a focus on cybersecurity awareness or cyber education roles.
- Experience in delivering awareness and training content to a range of audience (technical and non-technical)
- Knowledge and experience using cybersecurity simulations tools (e.g., phishing platforms), elearning tools, and business-intelligence reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI).
- Ability to translate technical cyber concepts & cyber risks into clear, engaging, and actionable messaging.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including ability to deliver engaging presentations and ability to build relationships with stakeholders (stakeholder engagement).
- Track record of influencing stakeholders to drive risk reduction outcomes.
- Strong data literacy to assess and analyse program impact using relevant metrics.
- Sound knowledge & implementation skills of security standards and frameworks such as NIST Framework, ISO 27000 series standards, and ISA/IEC 62443.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Cybersecurity related certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC or SANS certifications
About the Role
- The Specialist Cyber Aware supports the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of Client's cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives.
- This role plays a critical part in embedding secure behaviors and practices across all levels of the business by developing, engaging targeted and measurable awareness programs that align with thread intelligence, risk posture, and compliance obligations.
In this role, your key accountabilities will include:
- Support the executing of Client's cybersecurity awareness strategy, aligned to identify risks and business needs.
- Develop and maintain role-based training content for diverse stakeholder groups (e.g, general users, privileged users, developers, and executives)
- Contribute to the planning and execution of technical phishing and behavioural simulation exercises to measure and reduce human risk
- Create and manage cybersecurity awareness materials, toolkits, and internal communications to support behavioral change.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of awareness programs through data analysis, feedback loops, and reporting
- Maintain cybersecurity awareness platforms (e.g., learning management systems, phishing simulators) and content libraries
- Ensure all awareness and training content is accessible, up-to-date, and appropriate for global and diverse audience
- Support communication plans and campaigns to increase program reach and visibility
