About the Role
We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer with hands-on experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT). The role involves performing security assessments across web applications, APIs, networks, cloud environments, and IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing across web applications, APIs, networks, and infrastructure.
- Identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities.
- Perform manual security testing along with automated vulnerability scanning.
- Prepare clear technical and executive-level security assessment reports.
- Provide remediation recommendations to clients.
- Conduct vulnerability retesting and verify remediation.
- Stay updated on emerging vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security tools.
- Participate in cybersecurity assessments and client engagements.
- Work closely with the internal security team to improve testing methodologies and processes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience.
- Strong understanding of web application, API, network, and infrastructure security.
- Good knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and common security vulnerabilities.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus/OpenVAS, Metasploit, Kali Linux, or similar tools.
- Ability to analyze vulnerabilities and prepare professional technical reports.
- Good communication and client interaction skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Security certifications such as CEH, eJPT, CRTP, or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.
