Information Technology General Job Description
As a cyber security agent within Agency Security team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of Sabre systems. The position is focused on customer security investigations, internal auditing and identifying security gaps in products and procedures.
You will be responsible for detecting malicious behavior and collaborating across teams to minimize the impact of unauthorized access.
Key Responsibilities
Detect malicious actor behavior patterns within Sabre PNR data.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and take corrective action based on the monitoring of PNR’s, IP and workstations.
Participate in security incident response and vulnerability management process to protect against unauthorized access on Sabre system.
Conduct internal audits and review EPR creation for new agency on-boardings.
Review Sabre location PCC to ensure compliance; serve as the key point of contact for identification and validation of internal use PCC .
Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with customer webinars and represent security solutions in internal training sessions.
Work with product teams to suggest performance and security improvements for application systems.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, system configurations and security best practices.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferably in computer science or related field.
Experience – 0 to 2 years of related experience in cyber security, system monitoring, or GDS environments.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical skills with focus on data driven answers.
Excellent team work, knowledge sharing and documentation habits.
Ability to build stable working relationships across internal cross functional teams.
Important
While the responsibilities outlined above represent the
core focus of the Cyber Security Agent role, this position is also an integral part of the
Advanced Support organization.
Advanced Support is made up of
specialists who provide critical support to the distribution business, covering
travel agencies, airlines, hotel, and car rental vendors. As part of this model, team members may be involved into collaborating across functional areas and might be required to support different domains to ensure operational continuity and effective issue resolution.
This role is designed for individuals who are interested in
learning across multiple functional areas. Based on operational needs, the Cyber Security Agent may be temporarily or permanently assigned to support different areas within Advanced Support. Comprehensive training will be provided across all supported systems and environments; however,
flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn are fundamental expectations for this position.
