Role Description The Cyber Security Analyst role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Coimbatore Area. This role involves monitoring and securing the organization’s networks, applications, and systems against threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access. The analyst will conduct regular security assessments, analyze logs and alerts, investigate potential malware infections, and respond to security incidents. Daily responsibilities include implementing security controls, supporting secure application development, preparing reports for management, and collaborating with IT and business teams to improve overall security posture. The role also includes keeping security tools and documentation up to date and staying informed about emerging cyber threats relevant to the retail and fashion industry.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Cybersecurity fundamentals and Analytical Skills to identify, investigate, and resolve security issues.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Network Security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network configuration.
- Candidates should possess skills in Application Security, including secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment, and remediation.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Malware Analysis, including identifying, analyzing, and responding to malware-related incidents.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or similar) are beneficial.
- Experience with SIEM tools, endpoint protection, and incident response processes is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
