About the Role
Maharashtra Cyber’s Centre of Excellence is seeking a qualified and experienced Cyber Law Trainer to join its team. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of cybersecurity and digital justice in India, developing and delivering comprehensive training programs on cyber law, digital forensics, cybercrime investigation, and the legal aspects of cybersecurity for police personnel, government officials and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deliver training modules on cyber law, including the IT Act 2000, IPC provisions related to cybercrimes, and international cybercrime laws.
• Conduct workshops, seminars, and training sessions for police officers, investigating officers, prosecutors, and government officials.
• Create comprehensive training materials including manuals, case studies, presentations, and e-learning resources.
• Stay current with evolving cyber laws, regulations, and legal precedents at national and international levels.
• Provide legal guidance and consultation to cybercrime investigation teams.
• Develop specialized training programs for different stakeholder groups (police, prosecutors, judicial officers, corporate sector).
• Assess training effectiveness and maintain detailed records of delivery and participant feedback.
• Collaborate with national and international agencies, law enforcement bodies, and legal experts.
• Contribute to the development of operational guidelines and standard procedures for cyber investigation from a legal perspective.
QualificationsRequired
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Minimum 6 years of total professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cyber law, cybercrime law, IT law, digital forensics, or law enforcement.
• Strong knowledge of the IT Act 2000, IPC, and other cybercrime-related legislation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi.
• Ability to work collaboratively with law enforcement agencies and government bodies.
Preferred
• LLM with specialization in Cyber Law, IT Law, or Criminal Law.
• Certification in Cyber Law, Digital Forensics, or related field.
• Experience training law enforcement or government personnel.
• Familiarity with international cyber laws and regulations.
• Published work or contributions to cyber law discourse.
