Our in-house factory and interior design studio work together to bring modern kitchens, wardrobes, and interior projects to life. We are looking for a Cutlist Executive who can bridge the gap between design and manufacturing by generating accurate cutlists and optimizing material usage for production.
Job Summary:
As a Cutlist Executive, you will be responsible for preparing cutting lists, optimizing material layouts, and coordinating with the design and production teams to ensure efficient and error-free manufacturing. This role requires attention to detail, familiarity with modular furniture construction, and proficiency in cutlist generation software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret modular furniture drawings and 3D models to prepare detailed cutlists
- Use software tools (e.g. Smart2DCutting, SmartWop, IMOS output, etc.) to generate optimized cutting layouts
- Ensure material usage is efficient, reducing wastage and minimizing costs
- Coordinate with the design team for inputs and revisions
- Cross-check dimensions, edge banding details, and hardware markings before releasing for production
- Communicate cutlist outputs to CNC operators or manual cutting teams
- Maintain documentation of cutlists and revisions for each project
- Support the quality control team with measurements and technical specs
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in modular furniture or related manufacturing setup
- Proficiency in Smart2DCutting, IMOS, SmartWop, or similar tools
- Understanding of panel materials (ply, MDF, laminate, edge banding, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or furniture design software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive attitude
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in reading interior design/shop drawings
- Familiarity with CNC production workflows
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, factory, QC, and site)
