Micro1.ai is seeking detail-oriented and customer-focused Telephone Operators to join our global talent network. In this fully remote role, you will serve as the vital link between callers and the information or services they require. This position demands strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate telephone switchboards and communication systems to initiate, route, and complete various calls, including:
- Local and long-distance calls
- Mobile and pay phone connections
- Person-to-person calls
- Emergency connections
- Monitor signal indicators and route calls efficiently to maintain seamless communication flow.
- Actively listen to caller requests and reference alphabetical or geographic directories to provide accurate information.
- Clarify incomplete or unclear information by suggesting alternate spellings, locations, or listing formats.
- Update and verify directory records to ensure current and accurate contact information.
- Receive, categorize, document, and verify information from multiple data sources.
- Utilize computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software and handheld device systems to process and manage communications.
- Maintain professional customer service standards while interacting remotely with diverse callers.

- Experience with computer-aided dispatch software and mobile/handheld communication systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to multitask in a high-volume call environment.
- Comfortable working with the public and providing remote customer service support.
