Role Overview
- As a Junior Product Expert, you will be the bridge between our products and our consumers. You will help users understand our products, guide them on usage, answer health-related queries, and assist with order or delivery related concerns to ensure a smooth experience with LightYears.
- This role combines consumer education, product expertise, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
Consumer Support & Education
- Respond to consumer queries across WhatsApp, email, social media, and website chat
- Guide consumers on product usage, dosage, and suitability
- Support on retention marketing, winning back customers
- Provide science-backed explanations in simple, easy-to-understand language
- Help consumers choose the right product based on their needs
- Assist consumers with order-related queries including order status, delivery timelines, and basic troubleshooting
- Coordinate with the operations team when required to resolve delivery issues
Product Expertise
- Develop deep knowledge of LightYears products and ingredients
- Stay updated on nutrition, supplementation, and preventive health topics
- Assist in translating scientific information into consumer-friendly communication
Feedback & Insights
- Track common consumer questions and concerns
- Share insights with the product and marketing teams to improve products and communication
- Help identify consumer pain points and improvement opportunities
- Identify recurring product or delivery-related concerns and share insights with internal teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Life Sciences, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in nutrition consulting, healthcare, or consumer support
- Strong ability to communicate science in simple language
- Interest in preventive health, supplements, and consumer health products

📍 Mumbai (In-person role)
