Role: Customer Support Executive – Outbound Calls (Contractual)
Work Mode: Hybrid (6 days working; 2 days WFO)
Week Offs: Rotational
Role Description
As a Customer Support Executive (Outbound Calling) at hoichoi, you will engage directly with customers to enhance their overall experience on the platform. Your primary responsibility will be to make outbound calls, understand user concerns, provide effective resolutions, and promote subscription plans.
You will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction and business growth by converting users into paid subscribers through clear communication and personalized recommendations. Additionally, you will gather valuable customer feedback, identify technical issues when required, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-first approach, and a genuine interest in Bengali entertainment to effectively connect with users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to customers to understand concerns and provide timely resolutions
- Engage with users to enhance their overall experience on the hoichoi platform
- Promote and pitch subscription plans to drive conversions
- Assist customers with the subscription and payment process
- Collect and document customer feedback for service improvement
- Identify basic technical issues, troubleshoot, and escalate when required
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-ups
- Meet daily/weekly performance and conversion targets
- Execute tasks assigned by the team lead or manager efficiently
What We’re Looking For in You:
- Fluent in Bengali (speaking, reading, and writing) — this is a must
- Comfortable communicating in Hindi and English (preferred)
- Confident communicator with strong convincing skills
- A customer-first mindset with a friendly and empathetic approach
- Problem-solver who can think quickly and handle situations effectively
- Basic understanding of OTT platforms and ability to troubleshoot common issues
- Passion for Bengali movies and web series to connect better with users
- Ability to build rapport and create meaningful customer interactions
Prerequisites:
- Own laptop (Windows 10 or above)
- Minimum 4GB RAM and i3 (11th Gen or above)
- Stable broadband internet connection (Wi-Fi mandatory; mobile hotspot not allowed)
