We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Reduction Specialist to join our Operations team.
This role is responsible for communicating with medical providers, hospitals, physicians' offices, and billing departments to obtain billing information, follow up on outstanding balances, and assist with the reductions process for personal injury cases.
The ideal candidate has previous experience in medical billing, medical collections, healthcare administration, or customer service within a medical environment. Strong English communication skills and professionalism are essential, as this role involves frequent phone and email communication with U.S.-based medical providers.
Key Responsibilities· Contact medical providers, hospitals, clinics, and billing departments by phone and email.
· Request medical bills, account balances, payment information, and supporting documentation.
· Follow up with providers regarding outstanding balances and account updates.
· Assist with negotiating account balances when appropriate.
· Maintain accurate notes and documentation in the case management system.
· Coordinate with the internal operations team regarding account status.
· Ensure all information is updated accurately and in a timely manner.
· Meet productivity and quality expectations.
Qualifications· Previous experience in one or more of the following:
o Medical Billing
o Medical Collections
o Medical Office Administration
o Insurance Claims
o Customer Service within a Healthcare Environment
· Excellent spoken and written English.
· Comfortable communicating with U.S. medical providers over the phone.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
· Ability to multitask and manage follow-up activities.
· Professional attitude and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience· Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting.
· Familiarity with medical billing terminology.
· Previous experience in collections or account follow-up is a plus.
· Experience supporting U.S.-based clients is preferred but not required.
