1. Role Overview
We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to provide technical and field support for PCB Assembly and Semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The role involves troubleshooting machine issues, performing maintenance activities, supporting installations, and ensuring effective customer communication. Candidates should have hands-on experience with SMT and semiconductor process equipment involving automation systems.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer and technical support for PCB Assembly and Semiconductor equipment
- Perform machine installation, commissioning, and startup activities
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and automation-related machine issues
- Support machine calibration and performance optimization
- Handle field service activities at customer locations
- Maintain service reports and technical documentation
- Coordinate with engineering teams for technical issue resolution
- Ensure timely response and closure of customer support requests
- Train customers on equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures
- Support continuous improvement of equipment performance and uptime
3. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Electronics, or related Engineering disciplines
- 2–4 years of experience in SMT, PCB Assembly, Semiconductor equipment support, or industrial automation systems
